Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of valleyfragrances.com (the "Site") and any purchase made through it. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About Us

Valley Fragrances ("we", "us", "our") is a perfume retail business based in Kashmir, India. We operate the Site to sell genuine, sealed branded fragrances sourced through authorized perfume distributors. We have been in the perfume business for over six years.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract under Indian law to place an order on the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these criteria.

3. Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to display product images, descriptions, prices, fragrance notes, and other details accurately. However, minor variations may occur due to manufacturer batch updates, packaging refreshes, or display calibration. The product you receive will always be the authentic version of the title named on your order.

Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time without prior notice; the price you pay is the price displayed at the moment your order is confirmed.

4. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the listed product(s) at the displayed price. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our sole discretion. An order is only considered accepted once payment is captured and we have confirmed the order via email.

We may cancel an order if:

  • The product is out of stock at our distributor partner.
  • There is a pricing or product description error.
  • We are unable to verify your address or contact details.
  • We suspect fraud or misuse of the Site.

In any such case, your payment will be refunded in full to the original payment method.

5. Quantity Limits

To prevent resale and abuse, the maximum quantity per product per order is 2 units. Orders exceeding this limit may be cancelled at our discretion.

6. Payments

We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking through Cashfree Payments, our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment partner. We do not store your card or banking details — they are handled directly by Cashfree.

All payments are processed in Indian Rupees. International payment methods are not currently supported.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We deliver across India, typically in up to 14 business days. Shipping is free on orders of 3 or more items (sum of all line-item quantities); Partial COD orders carry a ₹50 shipping fee to orders with fewer than 3 items. 8. Returns & Refunds

We do not accept general returns. Authenticity claims may be filed only with a complete, unedited unboxing video that meets every requirement on our Returns Policy page, which forms part of these Terms. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Returns Policy in full.

9. Authenticity Guarantee

Every product we ship is genuine and sealed. We work directly with authorized perfume distributors who hold direct supply relationships with the manufacturers. We are accountable for the authenticity of every bottle, subject to the video proof requirements in the Returns Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, product photographs, layouts, and the underlying code) is the property of Valley Fragrances or used with permission of the rights holders. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use any content from the Site without our prior written consent.

Brand names and trademarks displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners. We use them solely to identify the products we sell.

11. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.
  • Place orders using stolen payment methods or fake identity details.
  • Resell our products commercially without written authorisation.
  • Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy content from the Site.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Valley Fragrances will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or any product purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud where such limitation is prohibited by law.

13. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to fulfil your order and operate the Site: name, address, phone number, email, and payment details (handled by Cashfree Payments). We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. We retain order information for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes as required by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were most recently revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
