Where we deliver

Valley Fragrances delivers across India. Whether you're in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Srinagar, or anywhere in between — we ship to your doorstep.

How long will my order take?

Most orders are delivered within up to 14 business days from order confirmation. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are not counted as business days.

Orders within major metros (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune) typically arrive in 5–8 days. Tier-2/3 cities and remote areas may take 8–12 days. Extreme remote locations (North-East hill areas, island territories) may occasionally take up to 14 days depending on courier reach.

Why up to 14 days, not next-day?

Because the order travels through real, verified hands. This is the part most online stores don't want to talk about, so we'll be straight:

Valley Fragrances doesn't operate a magic warehouse full of stock. We work with India's top perfume distributors, the same distributors who supply the most well-known perfume websites in the country. They hold direct relationships with the brands and import sealed inventory directly from the source. Our access to their stock comes with substantial security deposits, which gives us the ability to represent and ship genuine, sealed products to you.

When you place an order, here's what actually happens:

1. Your order is confirmed and your payment is captured.
2. We coordinate with the relevant distributor and the bottle is pulled from sealed stock.
3. We verify the product (batch code, seal, packaging) before it leaves the distributor.
4. It's packed for safe transit and dispatched via our courier partner.
5. The courier delivers it to your address anywhere in India.

Each of those steps takes real time. We could cut corners and dropship from a random seller for next-day delivery, but you'd lose every guarantee of authenticity. Up to 14 days is a small wait when the product you receive is real, sealed, and verifiable.

Shipping fees

Shipping is free on orders of 3 or more items. Mix and match across the catalogue — full bottles, decants, anything counts toward the 3-item threshold. For orders below 3 items, a ₹50 shipping fee applies on Partial COD. No hidden charges — what you see at checkout is what you pay.

Order status & updates

We'll send you a WhatsApp confirmation right after your order is placed, and another update when your parcel is dispatched. For any status check in between, message us on WhatsApp with your order number and we'll reply within a few hours during working days.

Packaging

Every order is packed in a corrugated outer box with cushioning material around the perfume box. Our courier partners handle perfume regularly and we've optimised the packaging for safe transit across India. In the rare case of damage during transit, see our Returns Policy for the process. Note that the unboxing video rule still applies.

Decants (5 ml / 10 ml)

Decants ship within the same up to 14 business day window as full bottles. Each decant is leak-tested before packing and individually wrapped in a bubble pouch inside a snug kraft box with cushioning. Glass atomizers handle transit well when packed this way, but damage can still happen occasionally.

Decant orders have a ₹499 minimum. Shipping is ₹50 on prepaid decant orders, and free on prepaid decant orders above ₹1,999. Decant carts above ₹1,499 may also opt for Partial COD (see below) which carries a flat ₹90 shipping fee.

If a decant arrives damaged in transit, message us on WhatsApp with a photo within 48 hours and we will reship it at no cost. See the Returns Policy for the full decant damage flow.

Failed delivery attempts

Couriers typically attempt delivery up to three times. If you're unreachable on all attempts, the package is returned to our distributor and we'll contact you to either reschedule (additional shipping cost may apply) or refund the order minus the courier's reverse-pickup charge.

Partial COD

On decant orders above ₹1,499, you can pay 25% of the subtotal upfront via UPI / card / net banking, and the remaining 75% in cash on delivery. Shipping is a flat ₹90 charged upfront alongside the 25% booking. If you refuse the parcel at the door, we retain max(50% of the booking, ₹180) plus shipping as a cancellation penalty — the rest is refunded to your original payment method.

Full-bottle and mixed carts can also use Partial COD when eligible; the breakdown is shown live on the checkout screen.
